The Southwestern Airbnb
This southwest-style landscape in Plaza Midwood is a captivating fusion of modern aesthetics and natural elegance, transforming the outdoor area into a welcoming retreat. With a design that embraces the warm colors and textures characteristic of the southwest region, this landscape features an inviting inground fire pit, a beautifully crafted limestone patio, and a thoughtfully reimagined garden layout.
Carefully selected plants and materials evoke the essence of southwestern charm, incorporating earthy tones and drought-resistant flora that thrive in the local climate. The landscape is enhanced by a strategic lighting design that highlights the home, trees, and garden beds, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Throughout the design process, we collaborated closely with a wonderful client who affectionately dubbed the project “The Airbnb.” Their vision and input played a significant role in bringing this project to life. This striking southwest-style landscape now serves as a distinctive and serene outdoor space for gathering and relaxation in the heart of Plaza Midwood, a true reflection of modern living and nature's beauty.
